Duties & Responsibilities
Provide to the board oversight and recommendations for all matters related to lake safety to include but not restricted to the following:
- Coordinate the placement of buoys with the WDNR and obtain appropriate permits
- Install and manage all lake buoys
- Upkeep, maintain, purchase, and replace lake buoys
- Upkeep and maintain buoy pontoon boat
- Respond to damaged and dislodged buoys
- Manage on-lake safety signage
- Handle slow/no-wake issues
- All other matters related to lake safety
Four trees were plucked out of Lower Post by Dvorak’s. Locals near the boat landing put on waders, got chain saws out, cut the trees up, and removed them from the landing! The hazard buoys were pulled from that area after the trees were removed.
