2019 – 21st Annual Ice Fishing Jamboree

Often, after the holidays are over and the decorations are packed away people look for something to do. The ice is solid, and the snow is covering the ground so here is that “something,” the PUA 2019 21st Annual Ice Fishing Jamboree. Mark Saturday, February 16, 2019, on your calendar now. This event is the PUA major fundraiser and is the only major fishing contest on our Post Lakes. Join the fun and vie for prizes in various fish categories.

This is family affair, with fish categories for the kids as well as the adults. Cash prizes totaling $1,500 will be awarded through the Jamboree prize tickets included with this newsletter and available for purchase at the PUA Community Building on the day of the event. Look for the green tickets! A prize ticket is required for adults and teens 13 and older, to register a fish also. In addition, we will have raffles for numerous other valuable prizes throughout the day, both on and off the ice.

Official contest fishing on Upper and Lower Post Lakes and below the dam will begin at Dawn and will continue until the final fish registration ends at 4 p.m. Adult cash prizes will be awarded for 1st and 2nd place in these fish categories: Northern, Walleye, Bass, Crappie, Perch and Bluegill. Kids’ item prizes are for the same categories. Remember, beside the fishing contest, this is a community event, with food, beverages, prizes and socializing at the PUA Community Center. Join the fun at PUA!
